If you run a team, advise clients, look after the customers of a bank or are preparing to move to an English-speaking country, you do not need general English. You need the English of your job: the email that gets a reply, the meeting where you do more than listen, the presentation you can give without reading it, the contract wording that holds. That is what these lessons are for, and it is why the first thing we look at is your own work rather than a textbook.

Lessons are taught live online by Kyle Atkins, an English teacher with eighteen years of experience who has taught professional English across legal, business, medical and technical fields and who builds the tools and materials he uses with students himself. Lessons run one-to-one or in a small group of colleagues, in 1.5-hour sessions, and are scheduled on Central European Time (CET/CEST), which fits a working calendar anywhere in Europe and converts easily from elsewhere.

Bespoke means exactly that: there is no syllabus waiting for you. Before the first lesson we talk about your role, your goals and the situations you face; from then on each session is prepared for you alone and adjusted as you progress. What a bespoke programme means here

Coaching here is not a course off a shelf. Each session is planned for you from what you bring: the email thread you are stuck on, the slides for next week, the call you have to lead, the clause you need to explain to a colleague. We practise exactly those situations, with real conversation from the first lesson and precise correction so that mistakes do not become habits. Homework is reviewed and you get written feedback between sessions. Between lessons, Otto, the site assistant, is there for quick questions and practice, and a set of tools generates tailored exercises and checks your writing.

Executives and senior managers

Lawyers and legal teams

Correspondence, memoranda, contract drafting and client meetings in English. Start with the free Legal English course: twelve interactive chapters at B2 to C1, a 200-question placement test and answer keys behind a teacher code, so a firm can use the chapters as marked work for trainees. Lessons for legal professionals are taught at the published rate for English for specific purposes.

Finance and private banking staff

Client conversations, reports, and presenting figures and trends clearly. Useful free material to start with: the describing trends vocabulary unit, Legal English chapters 7 and 8 on company law (business entities, restructuring, share classes, corporate finance, cross-border insolvency) and the Writing Clearly notebook. The vocabulary of your business comes from your own documents; the lessons work on the language that makes it precise and persuasive.

Professionals relocating or applying abroad

If an employer, a university or an authority asks for proof of your English, lessons prepare you for Cambridge C1 Advanced, B2 First, IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC with real past-paper tasks, timed practice and specific feedback on writing and speaking. How it works

1. Say hello. A short message with what you need English for, roughly where you are and when you are free (CET). Messages get a reply within one working day.
2. A plan made for you. We have a quick chat, I check your level, and together we agree goals, a plan and a schedule.
3. Start learning. Every session is planned individually; homework is reviewed with written feedback.

Rates and terms

Rates, lesson packs and group options are given on request: send a short message about your role and your goals and you will have them within one working day. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the first lesson are refunded in full, and 24-hour notice keeps a rescheduled booking intact.
